/ le foyer du château / is an independent exhibition- and work space by a collective of artist/curators/activist/writers in a studio facing the semi-public terrace of the housing block at Karl-Liebknechtstr 9, Berlin.
Through our public program we wish to invite for a broader dialogue on social, architectural and futuristic aspects of our city.
The name / le foyer du château / refers to our space’s geographical placement overlooking the newly built castle in Berlin.

Wikipedia is the largest and most popular general reference work on the internet with more than 40 million articles in more than 250 different languages. The fact is when we don’t tell our stories or participate in the ways our history is preserved, it gets erased. Gaps in the coverage of knowledge about women, gender, feminism, and the arts on one of the most visited websites in the world is a big problem and we need your help to fix it.
